My kitten just bit or scratched me by accident. What should I do?

Bites from mature pet cats don't happen often, but younger cats can often bite by accident, not understanding how sharp their teeth are. This is more common with kittens that were raised alone, or whose owners encouraged play-wrestling with human fingers.
